Excursions and trips
Ladoga Manor is not just a place to relax. This is the restored estate of Oscar Nissinen, founded in 1892. Every stone, every tree, and every building here preserves the memory of the people who lived and worked on this land more than a century ago.
We didn't just save this story — we made it a part of your stay. We invite you to take a walk where the past meets the present.
Niemeliankhov Estate Walk
Getting to know the history of the estate is a leisurely stroll through the territory, where every corner preserves the memory of the past. You will walk along alleys that remember the steps of the first owners, see buildings built at the end of the 19th century, and feel the atmosphere that inspired creative people a century ago.
What awaits you:
- The Elevator Museum
A historical building where time seems to have stopped. The exhibition vividly illustrates the way of life and culture of the region in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Authentic objects, documents, photographs — all this allows you to imagine how people lived, worked and rested in that era.
- Church of St. Tsarina Alexandra
The pearl of the Manor. An active temple with a rich history, restored with respect for traditions. Even if you are far from religious life, it is worth coming here for the architecture, light and the special silence that reigns here.
- Architectural monuments
Historical buildings of the estate, each with its own face and history. You will see how Finnish Northern Art Nouveau of the early 20th century is combined with traditional Karelian motifs.
